My His Story

On the road of broke, busted and disgusted, I hear a voice in my car that brought tears to my eyes, a voice I had never heard before that spoke so softly, “I love you, I have always loved you”.

Growing up in church but living a lifestyle that was far away from God, attending service and serving in ministry with no relationship to God, I made a lot of detours that brought me to a roadblock in life.

How could anyone who knew the real me love me?

I don’t know how I got home that night and put my kids to bed but when I did, I opened my Bible and the Scriptures that I had read many time before in Sunday School and Church suddenly came alive on the pages.  Those of you who have read the same scriptures many times over and over and “suddenly”, you know what I am talking about.  Raising my hand to God I said, “I don’t know what your plans are for me, but they have to be better than the ones I have for myself.”  I made a heart connection with the Creator of the Universe one that I have never regretted.

Since that time many years ago, I still make bad decisions sometimes and some decisions are made for me, but I have learned in spite of, God does cause all things to work together for my good.

If on your journey of good decisions or bad decisions, you’ve run into a roadblock no worries; God knows where you are and His love can find you.  He is willing and able daily or moment-by-moment to lovingly re-route you into His perfect will for your life.  If you let Him.  So take my advice kick back, relax and enjoy the ride.
